2013 Academic Bowl
The 2013 ASU Academic Bowl was one for the books. Having ended the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' five-year winning streak in 2012, the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering team was on a mission to create its own winning streak. And win they did. The engineers masterfully defended their championship title against the W. P. Carey School of Business.
Taking home $24,000 in scholarship money and keeping their title, the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering team was comprised of Wes Fullmer, John Ernzen (captain), Rohan Murty, Grayson Stanton and Prad Kadambi.
Finishing second and taking home $10,000 in scholarship money, the W. P. Carey School of Business team was comprised of players Kevin Risser, Jacob Pruitt, Stephen Bergauer, Mitch Andreas, Brandon Vincent and David Ludwick.
For the first time in ASU Academic Bowl history, the School of Letters and Sciences advanced to the semi-final round while the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences never made it beyond preliminary rounds.
